Apparitions

Apparitions of Mary and appearances of a man calling himself Jesus or the Maitreya, have been occurring around the world for several decades. Many believe that these phenomena are from God. But Satan can also produce unusual miracles. All things must be tested by the Word of God. Mary worship is unBiblical, and the Bible says that when Jesus comes again, He will not touch the earth. Therefore, all of these apparitions must be from another spirit.

The Fatima children—Lucia Santos, and Jacinta and Francisco Martos—who are said to have received messages from Mary about communism in 1917. The messages included admonitions to worship Mary more deeply and made references to the thorns worn by Mary, as if she were the one that was making the atonement for humanity. The beliefs surrounding Mary, her eternal suffering, the fact that she is even in heaven mediating between Christ and us, are all blasphemous statements that deny the full atonement of Christ, the truth found in the Bible, and the complete sacrifice of the Son of God. But the Bible tells us that Jesus is in heaven officiating as our high priest in the heavenly sanctuary, and is presently in the final work of the judgment. The Bible also tells us that at Jesus' Second Coming, He will not touch the earth, but that we will meet Him in the air. The Bible does not say that He will be appearing several times here and there over the earth.
