Masonry
This album depicts the myriad of symbols used in Freemasonry. Look for these symbols in modern day contexts. Understand the meaning behind them, and you will see that Freemasonry is far more rampant than most people realize.
President Dwight Eisenhower honors 33-degree Grand Cross Freemason J. Edgar Hoover in a special White House ceremony.
Albert Pike, a 33° Freemason. Head of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction. Pike writes this in Morals and Dogma page 321:
Lucifer, the Light-Bearer! Strange and mysterious name given to the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the light, and with its splendors intolerable blinds feeble, sensual, or selfish Souls? Doubt it not!

"Astrology is...a science demanding the respect of the scholar notwithstanding its definition as a black art, and, in a reflective sense, and an occult science...this science was known to the ancients as the divine art...
From that science many of our most significant emblems are borrowed. The Lodge itself is a representation of the world; it is adorned with the images of the sun, and moon and [stars]." (Encyclopedia of Freemasonry: 110).

"Those Brethren who delight to trace our emblems to an astronomical origin, find in the compass a symbol of the sun, and circular pivot representing the body of the luminary, and the diverging legs his rays...
Hardly any of the symbols of Freemasonry are more important in their signification or more extensive in their application than the sun...
the sun, too, as the regenerator or reviver of all things, is the Phallic Worship, which made a prominent part of the Mysteries" (Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, 236, 987, 989.)

The cornucopia, a common symbol in Freemasonry, is also the symbol for many political organizations.
Charles G. Berger, Our Phallic Heritage (New York, New York : Greenwich Book Publishers, 1966): 60: "The cornucopia, or horn of plenty, was double sexed in symbolism. The horn was masculine and the inside was feminine. The fruit inside symbolized productiveness of the female.”

The double-headed eagle, half white and half black, symbolizes the two sides of Masonic doctrine: white for the outsiders, black for the initiates.

The Masonic magazine The New Age was renamed The Scottish Rite.

A bust of Albert Pike, 33° Freemason and author of Morals and Dogma.
These stained glass pictures in the largest Masonic Lodge in Guthrie, Oklahoma are a special feature of this particular lodge. During the day, the figures (apparently representing Biblical or famous characters), appear white-skinned. But at night, the figures become dark-skinned. These stained class pieces of art were specially created to achieve this effect in order to signify the white/black, dark/light, yin/yang of Masonic esoteric teaching. © Amazing Discoveries.

Note the phoenix at the bottom feeding its young. This also is a symbol often used in freemasonry as are the sunrays behind the phoenix and the rose at the top.
The symbol found on the website of the Freemason's Grand Lodge of British Columbia and Yukon.
As seen on the March 2011 Masonic Bulletin of the Grand Lodge of British Columbia and Yukon, Canada. Here we see the all-seeing eye and radiating sun rays. Is that the Bible being depicted, or another book?

Jewels of the Grand Officer of the Grand Masonic Lodge in England. Notice the various symbols used by Freemasonry: the pentagram inside the compass and square (a symbol often associated with horn of plenty (bottom right); the protractor, the ankh, the phoenix, and even David's harp.
Grand Lodge Jewels and Scottish Provicial Grand Lodge Regalia. Again, here we see symbolism that is associated with Freemasonry such as the pentagram.
Grand Lodge of England jewels and regalia. Notice the key, which is also a symbol of the Papacy, and the mystic tao. Also interesting is the dove with the olive leaf in his mouth. Again we see the horn of plenty.
Jewels from the Scottish Private Lodge—the oldest lodge in the world. What are the hammer and sickle doing among Freemason's symbols? Also seen is the dove, a chalice, the horn of plenty, David's harp, and the crossed keys—a common symbol of the Papacy.
This figure, supposedly St. John, among the Grand Officer's jewels of the Grand Masonic Lodge of Scotland. However, he represents the false teaching of Johannism. Notice how the cross in this image is upside-down—a symbol of victory over Christ.
The youth group for the Freemasons is the DeMolays. As we recall, DeMolay was sentenced to death for sodomy and spitting on the cross. Is that who we want our youth to emulate?
According to Frank Gaynor, Ed., Dictionary of Mysticism
(New York: Philosophical Library, 1953): 136, the Pentegram
“is considered by occultists to be the most potent
means of conjuring spirits. When a single point of
the star points upward, it is regarded as the sign of
the good and a means to conjure benevolent spirits;
when the single point points down and a pair of
points are on top, it is a sign of the evil (Satan)
and is used to conjure powers of evil” (emphasis added).
Here again we see the good and evil sides of Freemasonry: the belief that good and evil, black and white, dark and light co-exist.

The good and the evil pentagram according to Jules Boucher. Left is "Adam
Kadmon," right is the goat as a symbol of Satan.
"The Freemasons of the United States have, by tacit consent, referred to it (the pentagram) as a symbol of the Five Points of Fellowship. The outlines of the five pointed star are the same as those of the pentalpha or Pythagoras" (Encyclopedia of Freemasonry: 358.)

Albert G. Mackey, A Manual of the Lodge (New York: Charles E. Merrill Company, 1870) 40-41:
The right hand has in all ages been deemed an emblem of fidelity, and our ancient brethren worshiped deity under the name of Fides or Fidelity, which was sometimes represented by two right hands joined, and sometimes by two human figures, holding each other by the right hands... Obligations taken in her name were considered as more inviolable than any others (emphasis added).

"The true Mason is not creed-bound. He realizes with the divine illumination of his lodge that as a
Mason his religion must be universal: Christ, Buddha or Mohammed, the name means
little, for he recognizes only the light and not the bearer. He worships at every shrine, bows
before every altar, whether in temple, mosque or cathedral, realizing with his truer
understanding the oneness of all spiritual truth" (Manly Palmer Hall, The Lost Keys of Freemasonry: 65).
This significant quote shows that Freemasonry is not associated only with Christianity as many would have us believe. We realize from this quote that a Freemason will participate in any religious service because they are not creed bound. Is this why President Clinton, a Southern Baptism, was seen participating in a Catholic mass?
"Serpents encircling rings and globes, and issuing from globes, are common in the Persian, Egyptian, Chinese, and Indian monuments. Vishnu is represented reposing on a coiled
serpent, whose folds form a canopy over
him" (Albert Pike, Morals and
Dogma, teachings of the
25th Degree, Knight of the
Brazen Serpent: 500).
The serpent with its tail in its mouth represents the life-giver. Manly P. Hall, 33-Degree Mason, says this in The Secret Teachings of All Ages (Philosophical Research Society Press): lxxxviii: "The serpent is the symbol and prototype of the Universal Savior, who redeems the worlds by
giving creation the knowledge of itself and the realization of good and evil."
The serpent with its tail in its mouth is a common symbol used by companies today.

"The Hermaphroditic figure is the Symbol of the double nature anciently assigned to
the Deity, as Generator and Producer, as BRAHM and MAYA among the Aryans, Osiris and Isis among the Egyptians. As the Sun was male, so the Moon was female; and Isis was both the
sister and the wife of Osiris. The Compass, therefore, is the Hermetic Symbol of the
Creative Deity, and the Square of the productive Earth or Universe" (Albert Pike, Morals and Dogma: 851).
The headquarters of the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Washington DC, called "the House of the Temple." Notice the serpent.
"On New Hampshire Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., sits the
magnificent International Temple, one of the pride and joy possessions
of the members of the Order of the Eastern Star. The Temple has a
rich and exciting history that began at the turn of the century in
Washington, D.C."
Albert G. Mackey, 33-degree Mason and General Grand High Priest of the Royal-Arch, wrote The Encyclopedia of Freemasonry.
Here we see symbols used by Aleister Crowley, English occultist, and a Freemason tracing board. Tracing boards are painted or printed illustrations depicting the various emblems and symbols of Freemasonry. Here we see the skull and bones symbol, the set square, the black and white Jacobin floor common in Masonic and Jesuit buildings.
Tracing boards can be used as teaching aids during the lectures that follow each of the three Masonic Degrees. They can also be used by experienced members as self-reminders of the concepts they learned as they went through their initiations. Notice the coffin is situated East-West.

Additional symbols associated with Freemasonry. Look for these on buildings and within other symbols.
The Druids of Britain and Gaul had a deep knowledge concerning the mysteries of Isis and worship her under the symbol of the moon. The moon was chosen for Isis because of its dominion over water. The Druids consider the sun to be the father and the moon the mother of all things (Secret Teachings of All Ages: 68).
