New Age Movement
The New Age movement is occultism in modern garb. All Earth-centered religions, of which the New Age movement is a part, regardless of where they are practiced, promote the following:
altered states of consciousness; dreams and visions; astrology; divination such as palmistry and tarot reading; spiritism; magic, spells, and sorcery; occult charms and symbols; solstice rites; human sacrifice; sacred sex; and serpent worship.
The New Age movement seeks to dismantle and vilify Christianity and blend it with new beliefs and science. It provides mystical experiences that contradict old beliefs and through its enticements redefines words to fit the new beliefs.
Helena Blavatsky helped found the Theosophical Society in September 1875. Her writings on esoteric spiritual knowledge are considered to be the first instance of what is now called New Age thinking.
Throughout her career she claimed to have demonstrated physical and mental psychic feats which included levitation, clairvoyance, out-of-body projection, and telepathy. Another claim of hers was materialization; that is, producing physical objects out of nothing.
She is author of the famous esoteric philosophy book Isis Unveiled..

According to Lucis Trust, this "Great Invocation" is a mantra for the New Age and for all humanity. They say this:
"Many religions believe in a World Teacher or Saviour, knowing him under such names as the Christ, the Lord Maitreya, the Imam Mahdi, the Bodhisattva, and the Messiah, and these terms are used in some of the Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist and Jewish versions of the Great Invocation.
Men and women of goodwill throughout the world are using this Invocation in their own language. By using the Invocation and encouraging others to use it, no particular group or organisation is sponsored. It belongs to all humanity."

Djwal Khul (D. K.). His name first appeared in the work of Madame Blavatsky, a cofounder of the Theosophical Society and author of The Secret Doctrine, published in 1888. D.K. apparently dictated messages to Alice A. Bailey for over 30 years.
DK states in an extract from a statement written in August 1934 that he is " a Tibetan disciple of a certain degree, and this tells you but little, for all are disciples from the humblest aspirant up to and beyond The Christ Himself. "
Alice A. Bailey (1880-1949) claimed her books were telepathically dictated to her by D. K., whom she referred to as "The Tibetan." Bailey stated that after initial resistance, she was eventually persuaded by the quality of what she had written in "dictation" in the first few weeks work with DK to continue to write down the communications from this source.

Helen Schucman's A Course in Miracles
published in 1976. This book contains writings and teachings channeled by atheist Helen Schucman, which are purportedly from Jesus. However, the teachings contradict what Jesus says in the Bible, and teach that sin is an illusion. The Jesus presented in this book is a man who attained "Christ consciousness," and supposedly represents what all people can do.

Marianne Williamson is a spiritual activist, author, lecturer, and founder of The Peace Alliance, a campaign supporting legislation currently before Congress to establish a United States Department of Peace.
Williamson incorporates aspects of many religions into her spiritual philosophy, including tenets of Zen Buddhism such as the belief that one must empty their mind through enlightenment to truly find God. Just one example of her spiritual philosophy can be seen in her statement: "You've committed no sins, just mistakes."
Williamson has promoted Helen Schucman's A Course in Miracles on Oprah and continues to do so around the country, as seen above.

Part of the New Age agenda is to create many organizations that deny the divinity of Christ. If you are going to cover all bases, you need to also reach people that are not easily churched. This is the Shrine of the Bab on Mount Carmel located in Israel and belonging to the Baha'i faith.
Here is the Baha'i Shrine of the Bab seen from the other side. You will notice the occult symbols on the grounds. The Baha'i faith has the largest representation in the United Nations.
Page 217 of Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, a Baha'i book, says this:
Gather ye together, and for the sake of God resolve to root out whatever is the source of contention amongst you. Then will the effulgence of the world's great Luminary envelop the whole earth, and its inhabitants become the citizens of one city, and the occupants of one and the same throne...Arise and, armed with the power of faith, shatter to pieces the gods of your vain imaginings, the sowers of dissension amongst you.

People all over the world worship Sai Baba. Here we see a German man worshiping before an idol of the Bab. Below we see a group that gathers every Sunday to worship the Bab.
Many Germans worship the guru Sai Baba as if he were a god, not a man.
Guru worship is becoming increasingly popular even amongst non-Indian nationalities. Modern-day gurus are generally extremely wealthy, and seek the adoration and worship of Westerners because they tend to be more wealthy.
Adi Da (1939-2008) believed he was a god and that everyone is obliged to fall in love with him. In contrast, Christ draws all to Himself, but does not force anyone to follow or love Him.
This is what Adi Da writes:
I am the Avatar of 'Brightness'. The Way of Adidam is not about seeking to be relieved of suffering. It is about Happiness. It is about being in love with Me. All, as a condition of taking refuge in Me, are obliged to fall in love with Me. And, having accepted this 'in-Love', one can no longer say that life is suffering...This 'in-Love' response to Me is the means whereby My Divine Heart-Transmission is Granted. Thereafter, it is the foundation and essence of practice, until you are established Most Perfectly, by Divine Translation, in My Inherently 'Bright' Self-Domain.

The Master Mahachohan, called Lord of civilization and the Chief of Masters. He supposedly resides in the Himalayas.
The Master Jesus. It is said that in previous incarnations, he was Joshua son of Nun and was overshadowed by the Christ as Jesus of Nazareth. He supposedly lives in Syrian body in the Holy Land but recently moved to Rome.
Notice how Jesus was "overshadowed" by the Christ, while all the other masters were christs in their own right.
Master Koot Hoomi Lal Singh of Kashmiri origin. He is said to have been Pythagoras in a previous incarnation.
The Maitreya, known to Christians as the Christ, to the Orient as the Bodhi-sattva, to Mohammedans as the Iman Madhi. He appeared in India as Shri Krishna, in Palestine as Christ, and in Great Britain as St. Patrick, whose etheric body he now holds. He resides in the Himalayas. South Korean Presbyterian minister and professor Chung Kyung teaches that many religions can lead to God. She said this:
"I feel like my bowel is Shamanist, my heart is Buddhist, my right brain is Confucianist, and my left brain is Christian...I call it a family of gods and...they are together" ( William T. James, Editor, Foreshocks of Antichrist, Eugene, OR: Harvest House Publishers, 1997: 58).

In 1991, Chung Kyung gave a keynote address at the WCC Assembly in Canberra, Australia. With candles burning on either side, she invoked spirits of the dead by reading them off a list. Among the departed spirits called were Hagar, Uriah, the children killed by Herod, Joan of Arc, Jewish people killed in World War II, Malcom X, and even "the spirit of the Liberator, our brother Jesus, tortured and killed on the cross."

"Parishes in the Church of England will next month be urged to hold "Christian seances" and encourage worshippers to develop their 'psychic skills,' at a church conference.
David Christie-Murray, a former Harrow schoolmaster and Anglican priest, will call on parishes to set up a 'Christian rescue group,' or seance, to help the souls of atheists and others who have 'passed over to the other side.' Such souls, he believes, are 'lost and bewildered, in a condition in which they did not believe in this life and cannot understand now that they have passed over into the next.' He will argue that there is evidence the dead can communicate with the living."

Rhonda Byrne's book, The Secret.
Greg Koukl says this about the book:
The Secret, introduced in the book by Rhonda Byrne and 24 other “teachers”—and aggressively promoted by Oprah—is what Byrne calls the “Law of Attraction.” According to the authors, the universe responds to each of us according to an inviolate natural law that works like a magnet in reverse (7). With magnets, opposites attract. According to this secret law of the universe, though, “like attracts like” (25, 157).
