"Naturalistic models of origins based on logic and philosophy can be traced to about the fifth century BC in Greece. Plato (428-348 BC) and Aristotle (384-322 BC) were the philosophers that probably had the greatest impact on western thought."

DidYouKnow
"Archaeologists said yesterday they have discovered the remains of a man-made structure more than 300 feet below the surface of the Black Sea, providing dramatic new evidence of an apocalyptic flood 7,500 years ago that may have inspired the Biblical story of Noah."

Testimony
"I have grown up a Seventh Day Adventist, but I have not honestly begun to know my Saviour Jesus Christ until the last two years. It started when I was at college last year. I was so ate up with the drama of my life, the effects of my parents divorce, several extreme eating disorders and friends I should NOT have had, that I was to the point that I didn't care even for living. And then, my loving God still had not given up on me and through many prayers and His hand, my life was restored to me. I always keep feeling this barrier between myself and Christ, one that I realized I put there. Anyway, last night, I was listening to the 'Total Onslaught' series by Prof. Veith, and I want to say, I was woken up and my barrier is gone. For the first time in my life, I have this amazing connection and a true relationship with God, and it is absolutely uncontainable. I praise God for the words in those presentations, and I recommend it to everyone I talk to about it."

The question of origins has always fascinated the human mind, and from the earliest times, the existence of life has mostly been attributed to supernatural intervention.
Much of the evolutionary theory is based on the "survival of the fittest" perspective (a.k.a. "natural selection"). How does this process really work? This and following articles will help clarify exactly what is wrong AND what is right about this popular foundational theory.
Natural selection in itself is not a scientific principle, as it is based on circular reasoning. By natural selection, less fit organisms are eliminated and fitter organisms survive to propagate the species.
