To start translating our materials, you will need to do 2 things:
Through this application process, we can ensure that 2 translators are not working on the same project. Once we receive all your information, we will give you access to our FTP server where you can download the transcripts for your project.
Once a signed application has been received by our office, you should register with our translations blog, which will keep you updated regarding new transcript releases, new videos published for translation, powerpoints, publication help, and more. To register, go to ubuntu.amazingdiscoveries.org/translations.
In this section you will find documents that may help you with technical difficulties surrounding your translation project. They are made available to you thanks to courtesy of other translators, however they haven't been checked for accuracy.
There are many shortened words, codes, and jargon terms we use in Amazing Discoveries translation work. For example, all of our DVD series are organized by number codes. Find the definitions for codes and abbreviations below:
