God has entrusted us with the oracles of truth. Jesus came to earth not to do His own will, but to do the Father's will. Seventh-day Adventists have been set up as a watchmen in the world with a work of most solemn import. Are we preaching it? Are we evangelistically minded?

Do we feel commissioned to reach others with the message of repentance and salvation? Or we are doing the work only to bring in the numbers? Numbers mean nothing with God. In order to be able to give the great commission, we need to have our characters formed by stern discipline. Christians are not greater than their Lord. There's a cross for everyone. Jesus knew who he was. John the baptist knew who he was. Do we know?
