It is good to see that the scientists are finding these links between music and behavior; although, it is very sad that they still try to deny it, cover it up and focus on something else when those who listen(ed) to certain types of music know that it definitely affects their behavior. At the end of this article they come to the conclusion that this music shouldn't be put away but that the teens should be better educated about sex. Sexual education has been going on for many years. So far its only effects were to encourage in the same and isn't that going to promote even more promiscuity and adultery? I myself am a young-adult and I know the influence of music in my own life and those of my age.
I believe it was Aristotle who said that music defines where a nation will go, or something similar. He also said, "Music has a power of forming the character, and should therefore be introduced into the education of the young." If that's true, which I believe it is and see that it is, then how much more will this be true in regard to our behavior? Just like a lullaby is song by a child's mother to help with falling asleep so other types of music will cause their own effects and behaviors.
