In 1 Corinthians 11:14, Paul tells us that Satan "transforms himself into an angel of light" (NKJV). The devil loves to masquerade as an "angel of light," because if he appeared in his true colors, he would scare us off. A seemingly lovely and kind person is easy to accept, so that is how Satan chooses to show up on Earth.
In the following videos, three mystics describe their interactions with figures they each believe to be the Christ. However, just as Satan and his demons tricked Carl Jung into believing he had encounters with Biblical characters, so Benjamin Creme, JZ Knight, and even Benny Hinn have not met the Christ, but rather an evil counterfeit.
Those that claim to see Jesus, Maitreya, or Ramtha are not seeing Jesus Christ at all, but Lucifer masquerading as "an angel of light." Notice that Benny Hinn's apparition did not identify itself as Jesus—Hinn simply assumed he was seeing Jesus.
The Bible tells us that Jesus is serving as our High Priest in heaven right now (Hebrews 8:1). In Revelation 1, we read that John saw Jesus in vision among the candlesticks in the holy place of the heavenly sanctuary.
Next time Jesus comes, everyone will know that He is coming. There will be a loud trumpet sound, and He will be in the clouds and we will meet Him in the air. He will not touch the earth with His feet. Read our article: How will Christ Return?
Jesus Christ is not the Maitreya. Jesus is not a New Age Christ, and there are not multiple versions of Christ. Ephesians 4 stresses that there is only Lord, and He is in heaven. Speaking of Jesus Christ, Peter states that there is no "salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
