American Religious “Leaders” Demand God Back Into the Country Calling it “The Return”
On September 26th 2020, religious leaders Franklin Graham (Billy Graham’s son) and Jonathan Cahn (self proclaimed “prophetic writer”) are holding two major ecumenical events with the goal of “pleading with God” to come back into the American way of life. The main event is titled “The Return.”

What does this all really mean? Is this an important moment in a coming shift in the US (and the world) to religion?
As many well-studied Adventists know, the false prophet represents apostate Protestantism. Jesus warned of this when He said:
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matt 24:24)
The book, The Great Controversy prophesies:
“When the leading churches of the United States, uniting upon such points of doctrine as are held by them in common, shall influence the State to enforce their decrees and to sustain their institutions, then Protestant America will have formed an image of the Roman hierarchy, and the infliction of civil penalties upon dissenters will inevitably result”. Jesus didn’t warn against atheists, Buddhists, new age spiritualists, or Islam here. His warning is for a class who will look like and talk like Christians. Those who profess the precepts of God, but in reality join together to destroy the law of God. The Bible shows that this power will have “one mind” and will give their power to the beast, not to God. (Revelation 17:13,14; 16:13)
As followers of God and His word, we must take heed when movements like “The Return” start popping up around the world, especially in the US. Jesus says:
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (Matthew 7:15)

This event involves those who claim to be “prophetic” interpreters and writers. The false prophets of the apostate Protestant movement will soon clasp hands with the Roman power.
The Papacy’s perceived foe during this era is Secularism. These two powers are battling one another for the hearts and minds of the people right now in a classic Hegelian dialectic which will culminate in Sunday legislation.
Currently, it looks like secularism is winning. The organizers of the upcoming ecumenical event agree. The world’s inhabitants are relying on so-called “experts” of science to save the world from what seems like certain destruction from the pandemic.
But these ecumenical prophets and leaders don’t realize that they are contributors to another agenda – a set up for the Papacy to come roaring back, forcing its authority and worship principles upon the world. This comes in the form of the Protestant leaders of America uniting with Rome to lay the groundwork for a threefold union that will trample on the rights of conscience:
“Through the two great errors, the immortality of the soul and Sunday sacredness, Satan will bring the people under his deceptions. While the former lays the foundation of spiritualism, the latter creates a bond of sympathy with Rome. The Protestants of the United States will be foremost in stretching their hands across the gulf to grasp the hand of spiritualism; they will reach over the abyss to clasp hands with the Roman power; and under the influence of this threefold union, this country will follow in the steps of Rome in trampling on the rights of conscience.” GC 588.1
What does this threefold union look like? It looks like events such as “The Return.” In an article by CBN (Christian Broadcast Network), we see language that should set off red flags for any student of Bible prophecy:
“…the country has to get back to that dedication (to God)…or else.”
“…The Return and the noontime prayer march he’s leading the same day are a good start to get America out of trouble and back to God.”
“The only hope for America is God.”
“God is calling to America: ‘America, return to Me and I will return to you.'”
Are we ready for what is coming? Is this Hegelian dialectic leading to Sunday legislation?
Let us do our duty for Christ and help inform others so they can make the right decisions and discern these critical times that we live in.
